The sysdatetime reported by SQLBase is not the same as the current server time
Summary
There has been a problem discovered with the sysdatetime that is reported by a multi-user SQLBase server being different than the actual server time. The ramification of this is that entries put into 'timestamped' columns on the database will not be correct.
This problem was introduced with the 9.0.1 production release (13765) and also occurs in 9.0.0 PTF1 (13679). The problem is specific to the Windows version of SQLBase and is not exhibited by the Linux version of SQLBase.
The problem occurs approximately one hour after multiple users have connected to the database server. The time reported can be up to 1/2 hour slow. The time slip doesn't get progressively worse; it stays around the 1/2 hour mark.
Solutions
Both PTF1 for 9.0.1 and PTF2 for 9.0.0 are available for download. If you use timestamp columns, please upgrade to either of these releases when they are made available.
